Witset RV Park and Interpretive Centre

The Witset Museum and Interpretive Centre is open annually from May to September and offers visitors the Wet’suwet’en experience. If you’re already stopping at the world-renowned Witset Canyon, then head up the hill and give us a visit.

Sitting on our balcony with a cup of complimentary coffee in hand, you’ll get a birds eye view of traditional Wet’suwet’en fishermen doing what they do best. Our Interpretive Centre and friendly staff can also provide you with the story of the Wet’suwet’en. Through photographs, writings, artefacts and recently excavated stone tools you’ll see the development of our people from time immemorial. Whether you’re in the market for traditional or contemporary art, we also feature the best artists and craftsmen the Wet’suwet’en Nation has to offer.

We’re also conveniently located at the Witset RV Park and Campgrounds to meet your travelling needs. The Campgrounds are also open May to September with fully serviced bathrooms, showers, fire pits and sports fishing from June to August. Between the RV Park and the Museum, we employ two summer students every year. Come get to know the Wet’suwet’en People and community of Witset at our RV Park and Interpretive Centre.
